Inside a border of eyelet grass, rows of lace ripple like a river through the length of this lace weight scarf and stole.  The end edges are cast off in a simple scalloped picot lace.  

Evelyn gives you instructions to begin in a way that will create symmetrical lacy edges at each end and at the same time avoid extra yarn ends to weave in!
