This is an easy garter stitch shawl, knit back and forth on a
circular needle. Knit it with our handpainted yarns and the
results will be fabulous. Because the garter stitch is stretchy,
this shawl can be worn as a working shawl, crossed at the chest and tied
at the small of the back, freeing your arms to get things done.
The shawl starts at the right hand point, knitting back & forth to
the centre back of neck, work around the mitered corner to make the
bottom point and then work out to the left point.
The width of the shawl along the neck edge from the right point to the centre back of neck is approximately the same measurement from the centre back of neck down to the bottom point of the shawl. |
