Behind the Design:

This design is one that I was considering putting in a collection of designs inspired by the animals at the Ft. Wayne Children's Zoo in Ft. Wayne, IN.  It is a wonderful zoo, and this particular design is inspired by the zebras in the African Veldt.  There are generally three types of plains Zebras, one of which is generally most often seen in zoos and circuses, and the Zambesi River is part of the area they naturally roam.

Finished dimensions:  51" x 86" blocked.

Pattern calls for size 6 circular needles.
