Our personal choices of yarn for sock
making are Sheep's Gift(100% wool, sportweight),
Mohair Myst(50/50 kid mohair/merino blend) and Superwash(100% merino wool, machine washable).

wool, fingering weight. 2.5 ounce hanks of 550 yards. Try a skein

combining the best of superwash wool, mohair and nylon for added strength.
