This shawl is knit on 6 mm (US 10) and 4.5 mm (US 7) 32-inch circular needles. It starts at the bottom edge with the larger needles, then as you work your way up the shawl, the smaller needles are used while the rows become shorter and faster to work. ** Fiber Farm Note** Pattern states that yarn substitutions are not recommended; however, we have seen this pattern knit up in our yarns and it is quite beautiful. The wonderful nature of lace is that it is quite forgiving of yarn substitutions!! |
