Diamond Stole or Shawl

Each of the lace shawls in this pattern is knit from wrist to wrist in a stockinette lace pattern.  In the triangle version you will increase on one edge until your shawl is the desired depth to the center back point.  The shawl then decreases to mirror image the increases in the 1st half of the triangle.
The stole version begins the same as the triangle; however, when the stole is as wide as you wish, a straight section is knit.  The stole is finished by decreasing at an opposing angle to the other end of the stole.
